Giving Back...
Why does Valerie Give Back?
Every year the BLM does brutal helicopter roundups, every year 1000’s of mustangs are ripped from their families and every year 100’s die because of those cruel methods. They are incarcerated in holding facilities and some may be lucky and get adopted, others fall through the cracks of the system and end up in slaughterhouses. That's where sanctuaries she supports step in to save them.
About 100 years ago, about 2 million mustangs roamed the North American terrain. Now, there are fewer than 25,000 mustangs left in the wild and even though they are supposed to be federally protected, their very existence is threatened by the BLM, the very organization that's supposed to have their best interests in mind.
Wild Horses are Spiritual Beings
that deserve respect and protection. Those of us that have experienced these wild beings in their habitat are irrevocably changed and become their voice and protectors.
At the end of the day, there’s nowhere else she would rather be than in the presence of the wild ones, watching them, experiencing them, seeing their connection to this Earth and to all of us. So in order to help the ones that are captured during roundups, she gives to sanctuaries that save them from a horrible fate.
Print Donations
Every year, she donates prints to sanctuaries and auctions through out the United States for non-profit fundraising. Also, 20% of all print sales are donated to organizations in their efforts to save wild mustangs.Below are some of the sanctuaries and organizations she has been involved over the years.
